A light push with the thumb swings the rest 40° out from the camera and a light action ball detent keeps the thumbrest in the opened or closed position.
The sculpted thumbrest relaxes your grip on the camera, reduces camera shake and allows slower shutter speeds.
Makes one handed operation easier and prevents unintentional button presses.
Camera specific design retains access to all controls.
Integrated silicone insert provides both thumb grip and bumper between the rest and camera body.
Silicone insert in the hot shoe tab provides resistance to unintentional ejection.
Machined out of solid 6061 Aluminum rod, then bead blasted for texture and anodized for a tough finish.
Do you make a Xpro2 Thumbrest in Graphite ?
Because the graphite silver color is very difficult to match when anodizing, we decided it would be better to only offer Black, rather than have a silver version that was not quite the right color. The black thumb rest does look very nice on the Graphite body, as it balances out the black of the camera body.

We designed our XPro2 Folding Thumbrest to get out of way quickly for manual ISO changes - but if you don't like the ISO Dial you can assign Auto ISO to 1 of 6 function buttons.
Choose the base sensitivity, maximum sensitivity, and minimum shutter speed for auto ISO sensitivity control, which is selected by rotating the ISO dial to A. Settings for AUTO1, AUTO2, and AUTO3 can be adjusted separately.
MIN. SHUTTER SPEED
The camera automatically chooses a sensitivity between the default and maximum values. Sensitivity is only raised above the default value if the shutter speed required for optimal exposure would be slower than the value selected for MIN. SHUTTER SPEED.
If the value selected for DEFAULT SENSITIVITY is higher than that selected for MAX. SENSITIVITY, DEFAULT SENSITIVITY will be set to the value selected for MAX. SENSITIVITY.
The camera may select shutter speeds slower than MIN. SHUTTER SPEED if pictures would still be underexposed at the value selected for MAX. SENSITIVITY.
