Part 2, the actual Filter Holder, bayonets to Part 1 (which adheres to the end of the camera zoom lens) does nothing without Part 1, Sony RX100 III Adapter parts

Only the tiny receiver, Part 1, stays on the camera (it adds only 3mm to the depth of the camera).
The filter/filter holder assembly bayonets onto the receiver for quick changes without having to thread the filter on and off.
The filter holder is retained by a low tension locking system, so very little torque is applied to the lens barrel when attaching and detaching it.

Note that this Part 2 does not fit our prior Quick change for the RX100 II/RX100 kits sold prior to August 2014. Email us at susan.sales@lensmateonline.com should you need the older Part 2, we do still have stock available.
