Below is an illustration of our new Fujifilm X-T5 thumbrest showing you the 2 custom silicone inserts.
The insert under the hot shoe mount has tiny ridges designed to create a snug fit and protect the camera. A snug fit is important to avoid torquing of the thumbrest when pressing on the right hand side. The 2nd insert wraps around the inside of the thumb pad for comfort, also makes it easy to find while focused on shooting.
Comparing the Fujifilm X-T5 with the X-T4 you can see slight changes in the prism housing design, and a more pronounced angle to the top panel where the rear dial is located. Because of these changes the Lensmate X-T4 will not fully insert into the hot shoe.
